Mission, Faith and Doctrine of the ELCSL

We, members of the ELCSL believe in the “GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE” (word and sacrament). We are saved by Grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.  We seek to reach out with God’s Word to all peoples, replace false teachings with Jesus’ truth, bring physical, psychological, social and political relief to all the needy, speak out and stand against oppression, and fight for justice to foster holistic approach in the teaching and the practice of the Gospel.

To achieve this, we preach and teach the Word and counsel and cater to the physical needs of the people through educational and health delivery services and providing material relief.
