Brief Church ProfileSt. Andrews Lutheran Church was established on the 17th November, 1989 in Momajoe Village Bagbo Chiefdom after a breakaway from the Methodist Church Tissana, Bagbo Chiefdom. It started with a small group of Families, including the Colliers’, Mbayos’, Idriss’ and few others. The total membership was 31 including adults, youths and children. Mr. Amara Z. Collier was appointed the lay preacher.
After the death of Mr. Amara Z. Collier on the 19th February, 2002, brother J.J. Mbayo was appointed to take the place of late Mr. Amara Z. Collier. Brother J.J. Mbayo served as the Evangelist for six years and died on the 18th September, 2008. After the death of J.J. Mbayo, the entire congregation came together and appointed Abdul Wahab Collier to serve as the Evangelist. |
